Operations in Ukraine

The Horodok Gasfield is situated in the Ukrainian Carpathian Oil & Gas Region, 35km from L'viv and close to the Polish border. Europa's Ukraine subsidiary operates the field on behalf of the parent company and local state partner. Europa successfully commissioned the gas gathering facilities at the Horodok Field and tied four wells into these facilities. The field was brought onstream in September 2002 under a limited pilot production scheme.

Europa has entered into a Letter of Intent to sell the facilities to a Swedish company. The purchaser has secured the necessary licences and it is anticipated this sale will complete in early 2010.
