UK - PEDL 150 - Lincoln SW - HYKEHAM

The Hykeham-1 well, drilled on a four-way dip closure a short distance from the Whisby Field, was drilled in November 2009.  The well encountered a good section of Basal Sandstone with oil shows that calculated 4m of oil pay in the main sand and 4.4m of potential pay in the overlying sands.  Initial tests have not produced at commercial rates and the well is being evaluated for potential reservoir remedial action. 

Additional prospectivity exists in the licence that will be significantly high-graded for drilling on success with the flow test.
