Firsby and Crosby Warren (100%), Whisby-4 (65%)

The Company holds interests in three producing oilfields in the
East Midlands. The main operating base is at the West Firsby
Field, 15km north of Lincoln. Current production is 110 bopd, all
of which is tankered by road to the refinery at Immingham in NE
Lincolnshire. Current 2P producing reserves are 1.8 mmbo,
following the identification of significant upside potential in
West Firsby Zone 1 requiring further production wells.
West Firsby produces from two wells on a jet pump system.
A programme of site improvements and production optimisation is
nearing completion and there are plans to drill a new development
well in later in 2010. This well, WF9, will be a Zone 1
producer. Reservoir work suggests initial flow rates for a
new Zone 1 well may be in excess of 500bopd, but quickly dropping
to a 300bopd level.
At Crosby Warren, in the grounds of the steelworks at
Scunthorpe, the two production wells operate on traditional beam
pumps or nodding donkeys. Current production varies
between 35 and 50bopd.
At Whisby, just to the west of Lincoln, a well drilled by Europa
in early 2003 remains on steady production, currently producing
around 85-90bopd gross on beam pump.
